What do Unit Service Commissioners do?
Commissioners are district leaders who help Scout units succeed. They coach and consult with adult leaders of Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, and Venturing crews. Commissioners help maintain the standards of the Boy Scouts of America.

All Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders are encouraged to attend our monthly Roundtable on the first Thursday of every month. “Roundtable” is a district wide meeting held each month that gives leaders across the district program ideas, information on upcoming events, training opportunities, and an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy fellowship. All of our Roundtable meetings are held at New Community Church in LaGrange from 6:30p to 7:30p on the first Thursday of every month. September’s Roundtable will take place on September 1st and October’s Roundtable will take place on October 6th. For more information on Roundtable, please contact our Roundtable Commissioner, Edward Moone or Joe Westbrook at Joe.firstname.lastname@example.org or 706.594.0369.
