The Religious Relationships Committee meets the first Monday of each month, at noon, at the Council Service Center. The committee is responsible for promoting the “Duty to God” principles of Scouting in the Council. The committee organizes the annual “Duty to God” retreat each September, an annual banquet to recognize those Scouts and Scouters who have earned their religious emblem during the previous year, and provides chaplaincy services for various District and Council events. Rev Art Bishop chairs the committee. Staff advisor is Alan Spencer. |
