With more than 1000 acres and 30 miles of shoreline on beautiful West Point lake, Camp Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. provides a unique setting for an exciting outdoor experience. Since 1999, the Chattahoochee Council has hosted summer at Camp Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Over four million dollars has been spent on capital development to make it one of the South's premier camping facilities.
Camp Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. hosts the summer camp program of the Chattahoochee Council. Over 50 merit badges are offered for those Scouts working toward the Eagle Scout rank. Other programs include a first year program for our newest Scouts and a special "Trek Adventure" program for Scouts and Venturers ages 14-20. A certified C.O.P.E. course is also a part of the High Adventure program.
