Please read this PRESS RELEASE concerning the voluntary recall of Trails End 9.5 oz. Trails End Caramel Corn with Peanuts manufactured by Weaver Popcorn Company, Blakely Georgia, with code date markings of "102861 109 JAN 19 08" through "102861 JUL 23 09". This is just a precaution, no complaints or illness has been reported.

Record Growth for Popcorn in 2008!
2008 was a record year for the Chattahoochee Council with popcorn sales of approximately $436,839! Special thanks go out to Rick Tipton, Council Popcorn Chairman for leading this tremendous effort. Thanks also go out to every youth and adult leader who sold popcorn last year, without you we would not have been successful! Pack 356 in Beauregard, Alabama led the way this year with sales of $40,365 while Troop 300 in Columbus lead the way among Boy Scout troops with total sales of $12,483. Below are the "Top 10" selling units in the Chattahoochee Council for 2008. Congratulations!

Popcorn a huge success in 2007, 2008 looking even better!
Last year our council sold approximately $427,829 of Trails End Popcorn which was a new council record! This year's popcorn sale if off and running with a goal of $445,400. With your help this year's this goal can be achieved! This sale if vitally important to units and enables them to fund their entire scouting year with one only fundraiser.
