Why Sell Popcorn

Why sell Trails-End Popcorn?

There is no other fund raiser that is easier for your unit to conduct.  Trails-End Popcorn is a council supported fund raiser for your unit which means you don't have to fill out a unit money earning application AND that your Scouts can wear their full uniform when selling.

No Up Front Cost - Some fund raisers require you to have money to begin with in order to purchase inventory or supplies for the sale.  With Trails-End you don't pay for the popcorn until the end of the sale.  Order forms, tracking posters, on-line support, on-line ordering, promotional posters, and sample products are all given to your  unit at no cost to help you with your sale.

Free Prizes - The Chattahoochee Council and Trails-End work together to develop the prize program that helps generate excitement with your Scouts.  The cost of these prizes are covered by the Council.

Personalized Support - If you need help with your popcorn sale, unit budget planning, popcorn kick-off, ordering, or anything related to the sale each district has a volunteer Popcorn Chair along with your District Executive who are happy to meet with you face to face to walk you through your challenges.  In addition the Council has a Council Popcorn Chair and Staff Advisor who can provide you additional assistance.

It's a Win / Win - Not only does your unit earn a solid commission, free prizes, personalized support, not to mention a great product, the Chattahoochee Council is able to grow Scouting.  After prizes, sales materials, promotional items, training, and product costs Trails-End Popcorn helps fund improvements at our camps.  When there is a good popcorn sale the council is able to those extra things that keep camp healthy.
