We hold monthly round table meetings for information, problem solving and good old fashion fellowship. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. CST and is held every first Thursday of the month.
Leader training opportunities are being offered each month before the general round table begins. Topics include my.scouting.org tool, scoutbook, and youth protection.

 CityFest2018

CityFest is being held on April 28, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m at Kiesel Park in Auburn.  Units across the district can sign up for a booth and show case their scouting skills. Units who participate in CityFest and sell camp cards can earn 50% commission on each card sold. Base commission is 35%

Veterinary Medicine Merit Badge

Do you have an interest in learning about veterinary medicine or what it takes to become a veterinarian? Would you like to see what it is like to learn at an accredited College of Veterinary Medicine? 

Sign up to attend the Auburn University College of Veterinary Open House on April 7. The Open House will begin at 8:30 AM CST. There is no cost to attend and the Open House has several other activities that family members can also take part in and enjoy. 

Current Boy Scouts can fulfill the requirements for the Veterinary Medicine Merit Badge. The requirements for the merit badge will be fulfilled in a lecture style setting where attendees will also have the chance to talk with licensed veterinarians. The merit badge class will take place at 10 AM.

  The Lion program for youth in kindergarten is no longer a piolit program. Will your unit welcome kindergarten scouts?

  The Family Scouting programs will officially launch to welcome both boys and girls in Cub Scouting during the 2018-19 program year. Charter Organizations, Charter Reps, Cubmasters and Committee Chairs should be meeting to discuss if Family Scouting is right for their individual units. Your District Executive will be contacting you during the month of April for unit visits.
